I have a 1971 MGB roadster.
I'm installing a new top and want to renew the header rail clamps.

I'm using a stowaway (put it in the trunk) top.

Moss lists two header rail clamp: 406-230 and 406-240.
The serial number break is 219000.
My serial number is 237226.

Does anyone know the difference between these two clamps?

i am guessing

the 71 stock did not use the stowaway top. but a folder.

this might get towards your question.
