The Dutch Fork Geaneological Society of SC traced the Lindlers back to the original immigrant - 1750. (Gawd! There's an immigrant in the family tree! :D ) Nothing but farmers, foot-soldiers and Lutheran preachers. No politicians or celebs.... :(

Well, if you branch any family tree out enough, you're bound to find sumting interesting. Just give your data to the folks at that New England Genealogical Society, maybe you are related to Johnny Depp or George Clooney...

LOL! Peter! Touche'

It is amazing who any of us find ourselves related to. My ex-wife was a descendent of Belle Star, my current wife from hanged horse theives and the Cherokee nation. Me? A Twitchell who landed in Plymouth, Mass 1632, a shirt tail relation of the real Baron Munchhausen, and a more or less direct relation of other Munchhausens (5 of them!) who fought in the Revolutionary war as "Hessian" soldiers for the Brits. And that is not even counting the other Brit, Irish, and French connections (and God knows what else) that are lurking in the woodpile. Hell, I might even be related to GW or Tricky Dick Cheney or Hillary (god forbid).
