Hey guys

I have a small suggestion, We only ever seem to chat to 'relevant' stuff, whenever someone posts, so if it's a problem with brakes, we chat about the different type of brakes, There's nowhere just to have a bit of a ramble in here.

So I have a suggestion, why don't we have a sticky chat thread? With random musings..

For instance, I really really really want to take the midget out to work tomorrow..even though it's -2 centigrade. I want to try out my driving helmet....which I might possibly couple with a scarf

You mean like "That guy is tense. Tension is a killer. I used to be in a barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois. The baritone was this guy named Kip Diskin, big fat guy, I mean, like, orca fat. He was so stressed in the morning that it would take 12 pan galactic gargle blasters just to mellow him out, and that was in the days before the death star blew up his home planet too. Did I mention that he'd been on eof the first to enter the total perspective votex? Man he was never the same after that. Then one day he died eating some wafer thin mint a waiter with a thick french accent urged him to eat. I mean he had an appetite like Unicron's or Galactus, but after eating a whole planet he couldnt handle one little lint. Can you believe that?"

Oh yeah and the following might qualify too

I like your spirit! Myself, I can't hardly stand the cold anymore. And by all means, wear the scarf.

Ha! I can do better than that..

Hi there all you groovy guys n gals, got a hot date...but got a zit right in the middle of your forehead? I'm talking about the big Juicy kind. The one's that look like a third eye, well... don't get uptight if they've been calling you Cyclops, cause now there's "Hickey off pimple pads" by Brillo...hey. "Hickey off pimple pads" just don't work on the surface.. but go down and rip em out by the roots. Then for those moon sized craters you'll have in your head.. there's "hickey off" plastic filler, comes complete with sand paper, putty knife and flesh tone paint for all the rough spots.

It's called "off topic" and it's right there near the bottom of the Forum list.

Hey how you doin. Nice here in Florida , can't drive tomorrow my oil sending unit is leaking . Most of these guys don't make much sense unless there're talking about midget, proof above.

Ric, we're trying to guide them all down your way to the "penis" shaped state, you guys are no longer considered really the South, we're still trying up here in SC :D

Here's the famous Florida question, were you born there, if you were, you're in the minority. My dad used to call Florida, "Southern New Jersey" :D

Now mind you, I'm just funning around, but I am indeed REAL proud of being a Southerner and thank God everyday for letting me be born in place I didn't have to move to from somewhere else, cause I'm already here B-)

Hey Hap if I was from Mi. I would show you my map but I'm not so I will spear you that.. Originally from Ma. But have been down here for 25 yrs and almost been grandfathered in as a native. Sounds like you've got the best if it all. We usually head up to the blue ridge area when we get away. I hope to get the MG up to that Dragon rd. I see in the videos, it Looks like a blast. We did have the Prius pretty close last fall.

Ric, this coming June would be real good time to come this way, we're having MG2012 at Dillard, GA, lots of MGBs, but also Midgets as well, it like 4 days of activities, driving tours, including a the Dragon, autocross, car show, vendors, tech session, of course John Twist will be there, I'm doing a tech session on engine rebuilding, and lot of other MG guys doing tech sessions. I'm also be leading one of the groups to the Dragon, lots of stuff to do, even for the ladie folks. I gonna have the MGB race car there and put a big diff in for the Autocroxss, so folks can see and hear a 180 HP MGB up close and personal. There will be like close to 600 MGs there.

-2C? -4C?

Uh, NO PROBLEMO! 'Course I use ether like candy.

Here where the temperature is pursuant to Farenheit as is only NATURAL (of COURSE water freezes at 32 degrees and boils at 212, duh!) that's considered pretty balmy sun-up type temps.

Here's one for ya, -10C for the commute to work, 15C by 3pm. Shirtsleeve weather!
