My window stop at the bottom of my door is just a small metal plate now. I understand it was once covered with a horsehair material.
What should I put there now to keep the door brackets from making metal to metal contact?
TIA!
Cheers,

Seems like every one that I've seen is a 1/2" block of felt (Approximately 2" wide) ........

I used two wide strips of adhesive backed weatherstripping foam. Seems to be working fine.

I glued a square of indoor-outdoor carpet on top of it. It's the polypropylene kind that won't soak up water, and adds some needed padding. At first the door glass stuck up a bit but it has packed down over time.

OK...
MOSS has these under part # 402-230 Buffer Glass Stop (2) per car $4.20 US each.
Sorry,
I didn't know the usual suspects had these.
Cheers,
