I don?t get it? Maybe he got caught by Ebay selling offline to someone who sent him a private email? That happens all the time and I think Ebay reads emails sent thru their system.
I've been pondering selling my B and wonder if Ebay is the best way esp. since Ebay's selling fees have increased.
Probably encountered a high bidder that just couldn't come through with the coin and was classy enough to not make a big deal about a "dead beat".
I have sold several high ticket items on eBay and have been confronted with similar circumstances on at least one of them. I might be a softy but when a guy comes out and explains his problem in a reasonable way I tend to believe him and try not to add to his burdens.
