I know there are others, newer and better out there, but this one I can get for free from a buddy who bought it years ago and never used it. He doesn't have use for it now and has offered it to me to use on my B.

At our stage of life it's known as "sometimers". I sometimes forget too.

Looks like it will give you an A/F ratio. If you don't want it, send it to me. I'll pay you what you paid for it. :-)

Yeah it's just an O2 sensor and a reader box. That's what it does!

For free it's a deal. If you were buy one you can one that gives you how much lean/rich for not much more money.

It'll get you in the right ballpark. You just have to figure out where to put the boss fitting. With one sensor you'd be putting it down past where the 4 merge into 1, wherever that is depending on if you have headers or not. One downside is that if you have 2 carbs, one could be a little rich and the other a little lean, and this thing may think it was good.

This will require welding the bunge into the exhaust manifold. Possibly one into each down-pipe? Could be used with a programable fuel delivery system to set fuel mixture over a broad range of rpm or check performance of needles. Also can be used to set advance if programable.

Norm, that's what I was wondering about. It'll have to go into the exhaust pipe right after the header.

I suppose if I make the effort to make sure that both carbs are set up as close as possible, check the plugs etc. to get initial setting, then make identical adjustments to each carb to get the reading set on this unit.

Kinda like I do now, but without this unit.
