Last week, Wray decided to send me a sticker for my car. I'm not really one to post up pictures every time I do something to my B, but I just put it on there and thought it might entertain some of our more easily amused members. Plus maybe someone else will get inspired and send me yet another bumper sticker....

James, I thought it would appeal to your appreciation of the nonsensical. I would imagine that the general populace of the Charlotte area first reaction would be WTF?

I love the sticker. If you've seen the rest of the stickers on the car it fits in perfectly.

I've already gotten one WTF over it from a friend. Can't wait for the rest of them...

Anyone else want to donate to the cause? No political stickers though.

Up in Greenville, the wife and I always ask at teh local seafood house if the shrim are local before buying.. Some times of the year you can't get local shrimp and all you can buy are ones form Ecuador. I can remember when Greenville had no fresh seafood house - if anyone in the office went to Charleston on business, he "took orders" for fresh shrimp to be brought back.

Its not a bumper sticker, but I think I have a placard sticker for NA 1903 (gasoline). Its from this pile of old stuff here at work, and we dont use sticker placards on the tankers anymore.

Paul, Paul... Shrimp is a delicacy - especially in this part of the country. Shrimp and grits are considered manna from heaven around here. And Wray's native South Carolina (as well as most Southeastern and Gulf states) are big producers of shrimp - an important part of the economy. Over the last several years, we've been getting shrimp imported from everywhere from South America to Viet Nam. Don't ask how, but they frequently undercut prices on local shrimp - a little price support going on by their national governments in violation of trade agreements, perhaps. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, the shrimpers around the Charleston Area
are some of Wray's friends and customers.

Thanks Jack. I too love shrimp but was not aware of the situation down there with imported shrimp.
Very thorough explanation. Thanks again.

Paul
