Has anyone from here ordered for their MGBGT, the complete inventory of rubber door seals, window seals etc from Macgregor British Car Parts up here in Ontario? I am going to need everything new and if I can, I would like to get everything at Ancaster next month at the flea market. Don't want top of the line, just good quality.
If so, how much money would I be looking at? Or if anyone has bought somewhere else, the complete lot, give me an idea please.

Paul, if you are going to get them from Macgregor at ancaster, let him know ahead of time then he will put it together for you and you just pick them up. if you wait until the day, you have to fight through everyone and pick each piece.

You can find prices for most thing on his website. For everything its going to be expensive no matter where you go. I think getting everything from MacGregor is a good idea; 1 stop shopping. I'd give him a call and tell him him what you want and get a quote from him. He may give a bit better price where you are buying everything.

Ed, it is on Sunday April 18. One day only. Located at the new Ancaster Fairgrounds

http://www.bsccweb.com/Newpages/Fleamarketinfo/Flyer.pdf

There will be an outdoor car show: outdoor flea market vendors: cars for sale and indoor flea market vendors. Washroom and food facilities are updated for this year. The fairgrounds are finished off now and it is a very nice setup for this type of event.
Hopefully see you there. PM if you have any other questions.

When I ordered from McG the prices on his website were not up to date. He called me tp personally tell me that prices were going to be higher and to ask if I still wanted to place the order and/or had any questions. Talked about 20 minutes to him-a real stand up fellow in my book

Can be an interesting person to deal with. Not easy to get get a hold of. Top quality and top price from experience. I learned to buy from him once rather than buy from MOSS and then go pay AGAIN to get the right part from MCGregor.

MOSS has a whole generation of bugeye owners trained to stretch the rubber strip that runs along the bonnet cowl in order to compensate for the fact that it is just wrong in all dimensions. Bought the part from MCGregor and it fits like it should and the bonnet sits right.

I agree with you Pete. I have used a few of his pieces.

When i bought my first seals from him, we got to talking and it turns out he built the MG's in Abingdon. through the 70's. He did the interior. As he told me " I probably built your car"
