Nice pics. What's the story on the factory GT V8? How'd that get here?
You can bring them over though I don't know why anybody would want to do so....a buddy of mine in California has an original right hand drive one
Tony, this one was brought over years ago during a short period that the government allowed it - you no longer can, as far as I know. This is also an original RHD car. And why wouldn't you want to bring one over!?!
Factory V8's were underpowered & had heating problems
& their headers constantly crack & the suspension was less than optimum....
...&, they can still be brought over by individuals who own them & drive them in Europe for a period of time....the one-time exemption has long ago expired for importation of cars but there's something about owing them & using them over there for 6-months or longer....also military guys can bring them back as their POV if they used them a majority of their period of service over there (they just can't bring back a car that was never imported to the US)...MGB GT's were imported, the engine doesn't make a difference...just reimport an old MGBGT!
