It's sucked from the fuel bowl, past a one way check valve. Make sure the check valve is functioning and not gummed up. RAY
There's one under the fuel pump discharge tube. It can be unscrewed, from the top of the carb, and cleaned out. RAY
I'm good from the accelerator pump to the jet (AIR ONLY) .. I'm not getting any fuel from the bowl to the accelerator pump...
I'd suggest you investigate further how your carburetor works. There are books ...
Mac, thanks for that bit of knowledge. I agree there are books...
UNCLOGGED!!!! WOW! MUCH BETTER NO HESITATION ON ACCELERATION....
I would change the fuel filter if you have not done so already. Webers hate dirt..
Just put in new fuel tank and fuel lines with filter... being a B owner keeps you in check ...lol
If you're interested, Haynes has a book that covers just about all Weber carburetors. The title is: Weber Carburetors, Owners Workshop Manual. It's printed in England and covers, in great detail, everything you could ever want to know about Webers and how they work. It also lists all the jet sizes used as stock and what jets to install when installing a Weber on a car that originally came with a different carburetor. A must have for anyone really into Weber carburetors and what makes them tick. RAY
