I'm Mr. inner fender
So far I've struck out on locating a good used 1960/61/or 62 front right side inner fender. One that is not rusted in the front or buckled at the top near the recess.
That leaves me with a new question?
Are there other sources for sheet metal reproduction parts other than Moss or Victoria British?
I thought I had a line on an inner fender from Jorge Cervera who's reproducing MGA parts in Mexico and selling them on eBay. Fenders, Grills, Front body replacement/nose.....
As it turns out he lost some of his forms in a fire....the inner fender form was lost.
Anyway, I'm now looking for altrnative sources.
I've anyone knows of someone who reproducing MGA sheet metal parts like Jorge does ... I'd like to contact them.
Thanks

I'm told by a chap in Sydney who professionally restores MGA's and MGB's (mainly "A"s) that Kilmartin panels are generally superior to other sources, but that even they require some fettling for a good fit.http://www.kas-kilmartin.com.au/
Hi Dan,
I see you are starting a new post with regard to this topic. I thought you had succeeded in your quest with Lee's response. Did Lee's front end not match what you want? Was it overkill for the piece you need? Help us out here - if it is not what you wanted, come back with comments specifically indicating what is needed, because others may have assumed you were taken care of as well.
I have a 1960 1600 parts car which I am willing to part out, piece meal, but so far am not sure which exact piece you are looking for. Is it just the wheel well? Where would the desired cut lines be?
I am close enough that I can probably get parts as far as Seattle for you.

Correct, I'm still looking for a front right inner fender for a later model MGA.
here's what the back section of mine looks like..
I'm basicly looking for one that not bent or rusted
John-
Good morning.

I had been looking for a replacement chassis for my MGA/V8 project. Naturally, I ended up with 2 good chassis, both of them now at a workshop in Flagstaff AZ.
Do you have enough sheet metal and interior parts left on your MGA 1600 so I can assemble a whole body, or what parts do you have?
Regards, Lee B.
Hi Dan and Lee. First of all, I need to clarify that my parts car is a coupe. It is also a rust bucket along the entire bottom edge. But I think the piece Dan is looking for is okay and would be the same for coupe or roadster. Let me have a look tonight or tomorrow and will try to uncouver it enough to give you good feedback with a pic.
John
Hi Dan, I just sent a couple pics to your msn e-mail address. Rustier than I thought, but I would not hesitate to use, except for concourse. Bonus for me was the splash panel hidden behind the parts car wing was in excellent shape, including the rubber piece! So the effort was worth the mornings labor!
