MGB: AIG-Just in case you missed it...

The head boys went to California shortly after they knew that AIG was going to get ten zillion dollars and had a big time to the tune of 12 million or so over a week's time. Ten grand for massages and the like and a grand a night for their rooms.

Yep, that is some kinda trough they have there.

And oh yea, the guy that took the company belly up over a years or so period? He is still on the payroll as a "consultant" to the tune of a MILLION A MONTH! And that is of course on top of the fifty zillion bucks he got as a severance payment.

Man, I wish I had grown up on the streets in Philadelphia to learn the art of extortion and then had the good fortune to have been picked out of the street corner crowd by some "benevolent benefactor" who want to do his penance by sending me to Harvard and Wharton! LOL

Exactly why I thought they should have let the whole thing go to hell. Where did you get the facts from Jack?

I've commented on this before. These are the people that move from the financial industry to government position in charge of the financial industry and back, all the time. It's an incestual relationship and I'm afraid that they took us again with the bailout. Why do people think that changing from Republican to Democrat in any position will make a difference? Most candidates are already corrupted or compromised to such an extent as to be readily controlled by the power brokers in the background. The solution? The first step is to break the paradigm that says that voting for the lesser of two evils is your only choice.

I'm somewhat PO'd about McCain voting "Yes" after all his tough talk.

Is ROn Paul going to still be on the ballot?

Just about every media outlet LaVerne. Some more than others seem to be gloating over the fact that these guys did this, but all of them are giving it a prominent position in their delivery line up.

It is odd though that the same media folks are not giving the same attention to and same slant about the fact that Raines and Waters and all of those criminals looted the system that had been entrusted to them. I can't put my finger on the cause of that one. Does anyone here have any ideas? LOL

The two team game has worked well and still does in football, basketball and baseball. To bad we don't have a choice in Nov. Both teams let the country
get into this mess and will continue to extend their rules.

Too bad for the folks that live within their means.

but on the other hand, since the USG bailed AIG out, and they own the Man U soccer team, we all are now part owners of the team..maybe we can get a discount on tickets!
