thinking about doing the Delco alternator conversion, read the write up on it but didn't see anything about any Emission equipment installed. Is there any issues with doing the conversion and having the smog pump in the way?

thinking about doing the Delco alternator conversion, read the write up on it but didn't see anything about any Emission equipment installed. Is there any issues with doing the conversion and having the smog pump in the way?
The Saturn CS130 alternator will not fit with the smog pump fitted, they want to occupy the same space.
I don't have pics showing the setup - the smog pump is out of the car right now - but I didn't have much trouble getting the GM alt and the pump to go in at the same time. Alternator sits low, pump sits high, used the stock brackets.... Maybe I've got a different alternator than the CS130?
