Hello all,
Having trouble with the Alternator wiring on my 71 MGB. It is a Lucas Alternator.
There are three connections on the alternator. When I purchased the car, one wire, brown (not certain if it is the orginal wire) was connected, two more were just laying next to it (the alternator).

My question is where are the other two wires suppose to lead out of the to.

The wiring diagrams that I have looked at show five (5) posts not the three that I have.

Thanks for you help
Dave Jackson.

P.S. I do appreciate all the advice here, another couple of months and I'll have my first MGB on the road.
