I got the springs and everything back together, However I am having a hard time getting the drum to go back on. It seems that the shoes are out a bit to far, so the drums will not fit proberly on the lugs. Any sugesstions.
thanks

First, check the adjuster to make sure it's not extended. Then push the shoes in, from both sides at once, as hard as you can and hold for several seconds. That's to make sure the wheel cyl's not extended. Also. make sure the emergency brake is not in the engaged position.
thanks, i will try that and let you know if it worked,
mike
I had one set of brake shoes that were correct in every way except they were too thick. Put a different set on and no problem. Checked with the vendor for the first set and he said sometimes you have to sand them down. Not a good answer.....
If you've made sure the adjusters are at their minimum and the cylinder is fully collapsed, you just have to wiggle and pound to get the drum on.
