MGB: Another Moral Quandary and a Q

Last time, the opinions here helped resolve the issue of the little old lady who wanted me to take back the "over the hill" 87 bimmer. My client/mechanic's brother in law took over the contract and everyone is happy. Today's Q involves dogs, not cars. A certain neighbor put 3 dog pens on the border of his property which joins my vacant lot across from my house. The poor beasts spend 99 % of their lives in those pens and I get most of the noise. Since I've had a tree cutter clearing out my lot the past few days, my inquisitive neighbors, of course, stop by and ask him what I'm putting on the lot. He tells them I'm going to start breeding chihuahuas. One of my dear neighbors(also a multi-dog owner) is horrified. I'm planning on putting up a wooden sign in the shape of a chihuahua that says "Future Home of ....." My question is what to name my imaginary chihuahua kennel? Many Thanks....

Pedro's But why would your multi-dog owning neighbors dislike the idea of a kennel in the area? What's good for the goose is good for the gander! I have always been amazed how dog owners never hear their own animals barking all night! Cat owners are never concerned about their cats climbing all over other's cars and furniture! Kinda like smokers never giving a damn about who's breathing their cast off smoke!

what about "Quiero Tranquilo"

That certainly shortens, "I want some peace and quiet".

I think a picture of two Chihuahuas hooked up and the words to T. D. F. Kennels would get you point across.

How about "A Thousand and One Chiuahuas!" "Thousands to Choose From!" "Hearing Protection Required Before Entering!" Signs can indeed influence behavior if they can be applied correctly. A lumber company recently cleared a parcel of former timberland down the road from my cousin in rural NC in preparation for building a large, completely out of place, subdivision. The neighbors were agast. The nearest one put up a big sign at the front of his property that said "Timmerman's Farms" with a picture of a large hog on it. Anyone who knows the problems they've had with hog farms in NC can guess the effect of sales that the sign had. It stopped them completely, and was so effective the timber company sued the guy. They lost. He won. The land just sits there. Brilliant. Game, set, match.

Great idea, as long as you are not the land owner!! If it was in the wrong place, they never would have sold!! Water always finds it's own level!!

I'm going to need a bigger sign to incorporate these grand ideas into the "Chihuahua World, Inc" sign. I knew I could count on the brilliant minds here. Thanks again. Anybody want to invest in the small obnoxious dog market?

Only place around here for an RV is my garden plot, and I think I'll reserve it for maters, corn, beans, and stuff. JDW will agree on my parking limitations.
