I put new reverse lamps in the 73 and ordered new Lucas bulbs. One promptly burned out. I have been told that these bulbs are not carried by the usual parts stores. I've checked most all of them. The NAPA guy looked at it and saw a 212 on it, looked in his book and said it crossed to a GE212. He said he could order it. Well, so can I. So on the way home I stopped at Wally World just as a long shot. There hanging on the display was the GE 212. Problem is, it ain't the right bulb. Next to it, however, sat another bulb I haven't seen at the parts stores, GE DE7576. Same size and similar shape to the original. Works like a charm.
Gotta love that Wally World.
