Is anyone planning to go to Dobson, NC on Saturday?
A friend of mine is going to take his XK-140 and his son is going to come up in his GT. We all will be running along together with my red car trying to keep up from behind and not smoke out those two good looking cars.
I'll be bringing a Big Long Tow Rope too!
John seems to know where in Dobson it is going to be but I have no clue, any details?

I wish I was able to go but will be working on the B, getting it ready for primer.
If there is anymore in the near future in NC please let me know. Hopefully I will have the car up and running by the end of May or first of June.
Liberty, eh? I went to HS for a while at Guilford SE and lived in the caretaker's house for the long gone bird lodge in Climax across the rail road tracks from the old post office/store. There was a Model A Ford sitting in the five car garage when my parents bought the place, but it went away shortly afterward. When we moved I had to leave my perfect, at least to begine with, 49 Austin A40 two door as it was in complete bits after I had started to mess with it. :-( Jack

Jack. Here is the map of the local area around Shelton Vineyards. This will get you there, take NC 268 at Wilksboro toward Elkin to I-77. Go north on I-77 to exit 93 and follow the local area map.

The no top kinda sucks. Just got in from a 45 minute drive home in POURING RAIN and the cold. The car is essentially flooded. I need a non-ripped tonneau very badly. Oh well, at least I had a blast and you get some strange stares along the way. :D
That sort of thing allows youthful rebellion to show through without finding yourself in jail. Some girls will think you are an idiot but others will think your are pretty cool. If they show any interest though, ignore them for a minute or two and then yell out your telephone number. :-) Jack
