MGB: Anyone heading up Interstate 5 this weekend?

I don't think this is off-topic....

Is anyone heading up Interstate 5 this weekend and passing through Medford and Eugene (Oregon)?

I have some wheels I'm trying to buy in Medford but I can't get down there from Eugene/Springfield for a couple weeks. It's just wheels, not tires, and I would help pay for gas if you're passing through... The wheels would be all paid for in advance.

Bob, I will be in Medford the weekend of 10-12 July for the Rogue Valley Balloon Rally and will be coming back to Portland on Sunday. If ya like I can get them for you and drop them at your pos.

Bob, If you give me an address and phone number I can contact the Medford supplier and pick 'em up. As regards, delivery, it would save me time if you can meet me on I-5 someplace or I can come over to Springfield.

British Parts NW, in Dayton, has a policy of no walk up customers due to zoning. They sent me an order UPS, and left out a $2 valve cover gasket. I offered to have my wife stop by to pick up the gasket, in order to save them UPS and packing costs, because she was working in Dayton at the time. They said no...no walk up customers, and sent the gasket UPS. I talked to a guy who lived literally blocks from BPNW and wanted to buy a used Spitfire windshield from them. Same deal...no walk ins. The only way he could get it was to have it sent UPS.

But if you can arrange a tour, I'm in! AFAIK the owner is still is Greg Sherrick. I've never met him in person, but have talked to him on the phone a number of times over the last 25 years. I know exactly where the place is, and have driven by several times in an MGB, but with their policy have never had the nerve to just drop in.

hey gang! I'd be interested in meeting up with this posse for coffee or something.... (if we can).... would make for a great MGE photo op anyway :)
