I've just had tri-metal rod bearings made for small crank Spitfires. It's the first time they've been made in 20 years - act now or forever... Basil 707.762.0974

Basil,
You might post this over on the Triumph forum also. Seems a little dead over there, but you may get lucky.
Regards,
Rich
I see that you already did that. ( Taking foot out of my mouth) I looked under the
GT6 thread. Or as Emily Latella used to say: " Never mind".

that the 1200?
ebay? there seems to be a lack of TR interest hereabouts.
Thanks all. I'm not mass marketing these. There a few big re-sllers that will take most of them. I just wanted to give my friends here the chance if they needed them. Thanks.
Good to know Basil. Since our conversation I've been on the lookout for those in Vandervell - if I find them I'll keep 'em for awhile so you can sell all of your new ones :)
I wish some Spitfire owner lived closer so I didn't have to toss out more parts. Makes me sick but I'm in full shop clean-up mode. I've offered them before...FREE...and didn't get a single taker.
