You really should rent a U-Haul van and trailer your car behind it with all the stuff you plan to bring and take back with you.
????? If I was trailering, I wouldn't be going!! I am going for the 6000 mile top down drive!! If I break down it will be a pain in the a$$, but if I have to, I can afford whatever it takes!! When I get to chris's we will go over it really good!! If it doesn't look feasable, then I will go to Yellowstone instead!! :o) Trust me!! I will be there!! I didn't fix any of the little paint chips and stuff ahead of time, first off because I didn't have time and secondly there will be a lot more when I get home!! Anyway, I already have well over 3000 miles on her with one problem!! (a $700 cdn problem) but I found out what caused it!! Nope, I'm not telling!! :o)
No A$$hole! That ain't what I meant. Seems like every day you're telling about something else you're bringing and having someone bring something for you to take back home. Keep it up and you're going to need a truck to haul everything. Have Alida drive the truck and you drive the car then.
they make my local beer in St Louis, so I can buy it there. But bring some of yours anyway
What a guy!! No, Alida is flying, she could never drive that far!! See you in 8 days!!! :o) A$$hole??? Me??? Nah!!!
It's not far from the airport to your hotel, 5 or 6 miles, they probably have a limo or van service. Check it out. The runways don't point toward the Creve Coeur area so the airplanes aren't heard much around there.
I sure as hell don't drink it, but it's the big local. Any beer would have to be pretty obscure to not find it in St. Louis. We have a hell of a variety here in Cape, but we're a university town and the hub of a lot of area activity. We even have Hatuey which was a wild ass Cuban beer when I was there around 1960. You never knew what you were getting back then, anywhere form 5% to 15% and it taught many a young sailor a thing or two about beer drinking. I wasn't one of them, didn't get started until I was about 35.
Home is where you make it Bryan!! If I break down in the middle of the desert .........!! :o)
Gary.....I wish you luck on your trip, man.....just wish you'd buy a trailer & tow it behind your truck....you're talking a lotta miles on a car that's not yet broken in...&, there's no dealer network or warranty package behind it....just all your work & a long, hard, beat up road....
Hey Gary, when do you plan on being at Chris's? I might be able to come see you.
Gary, we're hauling a case of Yuengling ... (in Chas's Subaru.)
Thanks Tony, but trust me, I will be fine!! If the road is crap I will find a parallel secondary road!! I doubt that I have driven as many miles as you, but man, I have driven a lot!! I've been thru Mexico a couple of times! Need I say more?? :o) Oh, Kim, KOOOOL!! Alida is working on your Tonneau bag right now!!
Kim... Yuengling... Beer... (Please use Homer Simpson inflection)
Yuengling, my favorite!
bunch of juicers any of you have a meeting schdual for aa there?
Beware of the insect infestation if you go through Utah, Idaho, etc. People describe walking on sidewalks as walking on bubble wrap.
Enough of them in a batch grease the road as you run over them too.
Iggy, I will be coming thru Bellingham at about 5:30 tonite!! e-mail me your number!! Of course that depends on the lineup at the border too!!!
