Eric, is the filler neck size why it only fits pre 67? I've got a pre-smog filler neck on mine, but not sure of what year. I presume it still permits the tank to vent?

Hi Greg,
it is the filler neck where the difference is it attaches to filler neck with allen key type grub screws and a normal size lock cap fits inside so your cap dpes the venting

So these are the alloy version and not the chrome ones? Do you know a source for the locking gas caps that will guaranteed fit inside?

Looks good. I'd like to be certain it will fit though. Ditto to what Derek said.

Hi
below is a pic of the ASTON cap with the locking cap that fits i dont know the American MOSS part # for it if they do it the MOSS.U.K. part# for the correct fit is GSS154 (vented) or GSS155 (non vented) if you get MOSS here to cross reference these numbers and they dont keep it i can get them sent from my N.Ireland shop they cost around $20 and come with 2 x keys

Hey all,
I just got mine in from Eric...it is a very sturdy, good looking piece!! As Eric explained above, it needs a smaller gas cap.
Anyway, my two cents..I like the polished alloy better than chrome..it damn near shines like chrome!!

THANKS ERIC! Super fast shipping!

Eric,

Excuse my ignorance, but I would like to put one of these on my 79 MGB. Do you know if it wil fit, or what modifications would be required to make it fit?

Thanks,

Hi Monte,
you would need an early fuel filler neck to make this fit your 1979 car
