My late father used to refer to Caddy convertibles as "A whore's dream of Heaven". He drove an Austin Healey 100-6.
Pete
Sounds like an excellent judge of character to me and one who has exceptional tastes too!
I want to put my 2Cents in,,, I own a L82..
That has had all of the tricks done to it.
It is sitting in my driveway, for the last
Six Months.
I have driven a 720Hp Hennisey Viper
Only one of these is a Race Care, the other
is a "rocket". Both of these can take a 90 Degree
turn with out rearend drifting, at 45 Mph…
Viper without any effort..
Nether of these would I take for a ride to
another city or state, or a country road.
What is a Sports Car:
Any two seater + 1/2, that is less then 20feet long.
Any car that you let your soul, be the pilot.
Any car that time is not of the essence(Time stands still).
Any car, that you wish that it would take you else where,
Or leave you of memories that will stay with you to the end.
Any car that you own, instead of it owning you.
Any car that is part of the family and not just a machine.
(I am not talking about a car for the family(Family Car))
(Like a child, that it is your responsibility to take care of when sick)
What is not a Sports Car:
Any car that does not fit in the "Above"
Any car that you have to keep your mind on what you are doing.
Any car that is over 210Hp
Any car that rattles your spine.
Any car that you cannot wait to get out of.
That is my 2C, keep the change…
I do not own a MGB, I take care of one…
