I made a promise to stay off the computer for a while..and did for a couple of months. Have alot going on and after lots of projects..finishing cars, have a new metal roof installed on my house..but mostly not feeling well and afraid to go see a doctor, my wife and I have decided to pill the plug on almost everything. We're going to advertise every vehicle we own and hopefully get some response fairly quickly. We plan on retaining two or three and what dosen't sell we'll simply recycle...no matter what they are. After that the sat.tv and internet go. This isn't a money or marital problem, just a cluttered comfused life. As I age I find it harder and harder to play well with others so customer service at my shop is almost finished...a few cars to finish then thats that. I'm not old enough to retire retire but that not be factor anyhow. Most of the stuff I'm selling wil be on local area sales lists and if that dosen't go well will expand the area. I've enjojoyed talking with almost veryone I've mey here and a few other sites. Thx.

Jack, missed your posts; so sorry to hear you aren't feeling too well. Don't live with that big african river (Denial). So many things are treatable if caught early.
Hope you don't intend losing all of your wonderful MG assortment. I realize man does not live by bread alone, but surly you can maintain a small spot for one of your MGs. They can be wonderful mood lifters! Good luck, mate!

Welcome home! I know that these are hard decisions to make...and you have to make the ones that are best for YOU and your FAMILY.

I, too, always enjoy your posts.

If there is anything that I/we can do (even as geographically remote as we are), please let us know.

I certainly can relate to the desire to simplify things at some point in life, and have often told people that in youth we are in a big contest to see how much stuff we can acquire, then in middle age we begin to spend the rest of our lives trying to get rid of stuff.

There are also too many complexities and distractions in the modern world, and too little time to do it all.

I'd encourage you to force yourself to find a good doctor to visit. Whatever is ailing you could be much less serious than you fear.

I like the simplify idea, I've been trying that myself. No luck though, I seem to revert back the chaos. Any Porsche's needing a new home?? :)

The 75Smodel 911 is for sale. Debating if I should redo the ugly herribone seats(worn) with leather or sell the thing as is. I pulled it out from the shop yesterday and took it for a spin....sure am going to miss it...as I am my CGT..the A coupe I'll never finish and all the rest of the stuff. A local guy wants the C..thinks he could jam a V-6 in it after some mods. If that happens I'll have a ton of A drivetrain stuff up for sale.

You can pickup stock seats in good shape for cheap. I like the old cloth patterns myself.

Jack I like the idea of simplification.
No need to lecture you further but the above advice on your health is a better choice IMHO.
I do wish you luck and hope you won't competely dump us....
