I've welded in my new trunk pan and worked great, but have a few small pin holes along the edge that need to be attended too. Looking for help on any fillers that would work to fill holes. I see Eastwood has a metal to metal filler...any good?

Thanks

Haven't tried that brand specifically, but all metal or alumafill are good for that. If you're in Greensboro, FinishMaster has one or the other, I've forgotten which brand. Dolphin Glaze is also good, and if you've got other bodywork to do, it's good for filling pinholes in body filler.

If the holes are non structural, (to a point), and you blast both sides to completely eliminate rust and it IS only several pinholes and not a wafer thin entire panel, use any fibreglass filler.

I've used Metal 2 Metal. Works great and is easy to apply. I use it any place regular fillers might be exposed to moisture from behind.

Stupid question i guess but why wouldn't you just mig the pin holes up and grind them down?

Picture would be good to make sure I am on target. The way I read this you have some holes along the new seam? Would seam sealer not be the correct solution in this case?
