The fuel hose between my carbs (HIF4) is not metal braided like the hose coming from the fuel filter is. I'd like to replace it with a metal one, primarily for looks. Is the one purchased new from Moss or Bhive or whoever a braided metal one? Anybody got a spare?

Thanks,
Chris

It has been in the past.

The braiding will help to prevent cuts and burns on the lines, but I suspect it is there as much for looks as function.

You can by braid at performance shops that slips over the fuel line if you just want it for looks.

Or you can buy braided water lines like you see in the kitchen or bathroom. Cut off the connections and use this as an overlay. Mitch

You can find the 1/4" line in most places....I can't find any 5'16" though.
