After everyones advice I took my rear brakes apart and found out that my wheel cylinder was shot so I replaced the part, however now i am have troulbe putting all the springs back on. The spring that I am having trouble with is the spring that attaches to the parking brake. Any tips would be very helpful.

Thanks agin for you all of you help/

I just did this on my MGC. A little different then the B but it should work. Do not put the brake shoe hold down pin in one side. I did this when the backplate was off the car and laying on the ground. Set the shoes on the backplate where they go with the ends in the wheel cylinders and then put the springs into the one side that already has the hold down in it. Then lift the other side up keeping the ends in the wheel cylinder and hook the springs into it. Then push it down and put the shoe hold down in. Hope this helps.

I have two pair of needle nose vice grips. I clamp one on the spring just behind the hook. I then clamp the other on the sides of the nose of the first one. That gives me a handel to pull the spring to the hole. I hope that was clear. Kind of hard to explain in print.
