I stopped it after his first incorrect sentence. Which was 8 seconds in... It isn't a few yards from ground zero it is 2.5 blocks away, and it isn't really a mosque. It is an Islamic Multi Use Community Center.
People are against this project, not because it is at Ground Zero, but simply because Muslims are behind it. And Muslims – in the back of the Americans` mind – are considered the perpetrators of the 9/11 atrocities.Terrorism is not an ideology, it is a tool; but the terrorists kill for an ideology. They call that ideology Islam. This is the direct message that the mainstream media insisted on delivering in the aftermath of 9/11.

I think that cross should have been there. The cross is used as a religious symbol by Christians however that was a memorial that had been standing to remember the fallen soilders. There is no excuse for the vandals that took the cross down.

I think it was really weird that only christians were killed in that incident - it must have been true that all the muslims were warned not to go to work that day.
I guess this "storm" must be similar to these people objecting to this guy putting a cross in his front yard.

really no arab names appeared on the passenger manifests, 7 of them fingered are alive and well? How are you so certain?
Robert mueller said they can not legally prove the id of the attackers, but Chuck in bainbridge can?

Yes, they were Arabs and the only killed Americans, not muslims. So I guess the memorial should only be a christian cross. If any muslims were killed then I guess you would be OK with a muslim monument. Or if any jews were killed then you would be OK with a star of david as a memorial.

I'm not sure what kind of outrage you are looking for? I don't think anyone would condone the theft of the cross, we probably all agree on this.

Sorry guys I was there that day, I was in lower Manhattan before the first plane hit and was starting to go up town after the 2nd building went down. Also ask anyone who was down there what the smell was like weeks after.
The building where the Mosque is to be built was hit by the landing gear.
For thous of you who were not down there when it happened or back down there after it happened all I can say the pictures you saw in the paper of the TV gave you no clue what it was like.

I am not sure what the point of the names on the manifest are. Prior to 2001 I think I could have said my name was daffy duck and got on an airplane. I don't recall showing ID when I went through the gate.

So then how did we identify them? How were we able to show pictures of the 19 men, and identify them then? Some of which are still alove today!

But they have every right to be angry... Your taking something from them that they have every right to... your infringing on their legal rights... your i can't think of the word where you make someone stop doing something because they are a certain color/race/gender/sexual orientation... I would be pissed to if you only built a christian monument for those that died that day... Because not all of them were Christians... Some say there were up to 300 muslims that died that day as well, do their lives not count for anything... you guys are seriously unbeleivable
