So I ordered some caliper rebuild kits and the seals are too small, looks to be about 45mm instead of the 54mm I pulled out. What did I end up with, is there another size? Are these for the Midgets maybe?

MGBs all have the same caliper. I don't think anyone can guess what you have. You should be able to figure it out from the part#. A call to whomever you bought them from should clear it up.
