Just a note to say that there was a BC event in Brookline, MA today and , although small, was a blast. The first week-end with no rain here in the NE was made even better! Best of luck to the gent who purchased the MGC roadster and thanks to the guy who gave me the tip on slicing the SU carb spacers to accomodate larger air cleaners on my modified late B. Still sorry I didn't buy the new front air dam for 75 bucks! My wife was milling around in the background. Next time!

After you cut the spacers down. You will need to deal with the heat shield and throttle linkage. It want clear the heat shield. So you have to cut a hole in it for clearence.

Brookline....isn't that home of Wooden Boat magazine & school?

no, no, Wooden boat Magazine is in a nice place, not the Boston area :-) It is in Brooklin, Maine. On the other note, I am kicking myself for missing the British Car Day at the Museum of Transportation (the good MOT). Oh well, there is MG/Rover day there in the fall.
