I posted a few minutes ago and then realized I was on the trader. I'm looking for a way to clean an intake manifold. I was thinking maybe metal ready or a mag wheel cleaner. I had one bead blasted once, but it was very expensive to do .

Awesome Orange. The only place you can get it is NAPA.

What do you mean? are you trying to degrease it or polish it or get it prepped for paint? Different answers for different needs.

I agree with Carl. I have an intake that I polished after cleaning it up with regular soap and water (really hot water). I prefer Formula 88 for cleaning up, and Mothers for polishing.

If your talking about Cleaning Aluminum, as your post says, Awesome Orange is at least a very good start. If you want to go further with it as Carl and Ron suggest, I would definitly follow their advice.
Awesome Orange is a spray on, hose off product and cost $7.69 a gallon at NAPA.
Does anyone know of a downside to this product? All I know is that it has worked miracles for me. Let see if anyone has a downside to it though.
