Does it have a Crystal Lake near by? Maybe with a campsite or cabin?

Can I have your old one? Mine came with this lumpy bubbly metal at the base.

Mike. 73 and later MG's for the North American market came with safety bars in the doors. The door without the bar isn't correct for your car if you want it exactly as it came frome the factory. Doors with bars weigh a few more pounds but they do provide some added safety for side impacts. If you don't have the "The Original MGB" by Clausager you may want to consider getting one. It's a good source for information on restoration. You can find them Amazon and other book sellers. Walmart.com may have them in their books section.
