More garage cleaning and found these old pictures. Malcolm Gammons and Glenn Jarvis in early 90s Historic Rally cars. I sent these rust free MGBs over from California and Brown & Gammons built them into PERFECT cars. Funny how it seems that when USA guys make a perfect car...they are afraid to use it or scratch it. These cars were perfect everywhere.
The green car is shown at the start of a Rally (often a run through the parking lot at the start). About 8 hours later it was an absolute writeoff in Wales. Off the road at 3am and head on into the only tree for miles around at about 30 mph. Good thing the guys had full harness or they would have been seriously injured or killed.
The red car, #1, carries Malcolm's number one plate as the reigning champion. Kinda difficult landing...picture snapped just a bit late.
Last shot of my old race car fighting against a fast Jensen Healey....he was a duffer...only reason I beat him.
couple of old pictures.......fun times....

Great pic's Lloyd. How did the wire wheels hold up in racing? I always wondered about that. I figured all the longitudinal stress from cornering would loosen them up.
