Might be off topic but for those looking for a floor jack there is a coupon in November's issue for a 3000lb aluminum racing jack (Item 91039) for $59.99 at HF... $40 off there regular price. Looks like a good value to me. There's also a general 20% super coupon.

My son-in-law and a co-worker: Harbor Freight is like being a kid in a candy store! I got a $50 gift certificate for HF, and I forced myself to spend $18. I gave the $32 to my son-in-law, and I thought he was going to kiss me! I figured if it's something I'm not going to use alot, or modify, I'll buy it. I get their e-mails once a week, and forward them to people who like to shop there. I don't even remember what I bought for $18!
Yep, I'm someone else. ;) I haven't bought anything there in over a decade. Went in a couple times, then left and bought elsewhere.
Buying from HF? Wouldn't buy anything I want to last but their tools have a purpose. Bought a leaded hammer for $7 for knockoffs, why spend more? Bought a set of impact sockets 4 years ago and (the ones my kids haven't lost) they still do the job. Bought a corded hammer drill-biggest POS I've ever had.
Buy from them or not-guess it depends on what you're buying.
Some of their stuff is okay and some of it is junk. I bought a tailpipe expander and it was pot metal crap that broke the first time I used it. I bought a metal cutting band saw for the dealership about 4 years ago and it is still going strong on the original blade.
