Ive got the windshield frame off to install a windshield. Also have to upper dash nuts out to retuck the dash pad at the top. While Im at it , I either need to paint my cowl vinyl with vinyl paint or replace it. The vinyl is in good shape except faded. I was going to at least check the price at Moss but cant find it. Can someone lead me to it, or have suggestions on vinyl paint.

As Bill suggested I also got my vinyl at the local fabric store. I took my center console in to help match the grain..
Only problem I had is when I went to glue it down the 3M ahesive made the rear padding come off which turned out to be a blessing as it lays much, much flatter. If you can, find vinyl that does not have any backing.
Originally, the covering was an imprinted plastic, not vinyl. If yours is shot, vinyl is the way to go.
But, there is English vinyl, and the stuff that is commonly found over here. They have very different grains for one thing. Look carefully at your seats, doors, then at waht is offered here.
Vb used to sell vinyl by the yard, maybe still do. If Moss does, it is probably an unadvertised special, but I bet it could happen.
I loosened the top nuts on the dash yesterday and retucked the back of the dash pad with 3M spray adhesive. It was a slow process moving from one side to the other, using heavy weights in a box on top of the dash to hold the pad down and a long plastic bondo spreader tucked in to hold it until in dried. When all was done I re-glued the cowl vinyl (imprinted plastic) in several places where it had came un-glued . At this point it looked fine other than fading and blotches of paint ect. on it. Masked it off, and painted it with Black Marhyde Vinyl Paint. Came out looking pretty good.
I used leftover vinyl I had from making the interior panels. I was material I got from an interior shop, and it matches the NOS door panel I had very closely. Not perfectly, but very, very closely....

LOL!
I think the vinyl was a Robbins product. Unfortunately I didn't make notes because I didn't expect to need more any time soon.
Good to hear that FedEx has settled. Hopefully it's good! ;-)
You could also get some black Marine Grade vinyl from an upholstery shop. Marine grade is a bit better in that it has better UV protection and is a bit more weather and chemical resistant than the usual run of the mill vinyl material.
Gary, good to hear.
(Cares) The info on the vinyl sources was just that, info. I drive a rat car that has whatever. If info is upsetting to some, well (/Cares).
