MGB: Craftsman Screw Drivers

I would REALLY avoid buying the clear, stripped handle screw drivers craftsman makes. I do not know what they put in the plastic, but after a month or so they emit a VERY unpleasant odor. The older they get, the more they smell. I finally couldnt stand the smell in my shop and tossed them all for Mac and Snap-ons.

I think one of the benefits of Craftsman tools was that you could take them back at any time for a refund? If you can still do that, why throw them out?
