Does anyone have an idea as to where I can buy a cross member transmission mount for a 71. My PDO must have run the car up on a rock from the looks of the bend in the mount. Moss says it is unavailable and I couldn't find it in Victoria British. Any help would be appreciated. I don't think that it can be straightened.

They come up on ebay quite often, but there are quite a few people here who have parted out cars. Put a post in the trader forum too and that should get you some responses. I would put all new mounts and bushings in while you are at it.

Do you have any photos? I straightened one on a Chevy with a log chain wrapped around a tree once. Put one hook on and bring chain around tree then hook other end. Get in car and back up till straight!
