Just kidding, just kidding!
Well, I did the wood trick under the oil pan, and well -- nary a scratch. I guess those things are stronger than they seem.
Thanks, guys!

Good one..............
Shucks! I wanted to see John work his magic!
I thought: "Man, the oil pan must be pretty rusty or something."
He had me going...

Tell ya what Ger. Next time I'm down that way you feed me enough boiled crab and Taquilla Sunrises and I'll do my best to $hit you anything you want.
Man! That sure takes a load off me!
John, I need a new hood for my roadster, you coming down anytime soon?
Goooood scam, Kelly!! My first thought was, oh man, he forgot to loosen the motor mounts & just started jackin' Well, I'm sure everyone is going to read your post now!
You got enough crab and Taquilla?
It would've taken a bigger load off you if you'd gotten the chance to crap an oil pan.
... so how was the date, with the new "mounts"..?
The new "mounts"?? I just love it when you talk dirty!
It is tonight, but I fully expect her to call & cancel, cause it probably sounded like a good idea on Friday after 2 marguritas, but not such a good idea now.
BTW, thanks again fro the help. Bolted up the MM's and the alternator last night, and filled her with oil, ran well. VERY smooth with the new MM's. It always amazes me how much difference new MMs can make. I was too tired to check for leaks, tho.
