I'm trying to remove the 90 degree fitting from the intake manifold. It's stuck on there quite well. What's the best method of removal? It seems to be a press fit. Could someone also provide a picture of their de smog so i can confirm my setup? I'm primarily concerned with where the remaining vacuum pipes are running. I have a '74 MGB. Thanks for your help.

I tried removing it but ran into the same problem you are having. In the interest of not totally mucking things up, I just plugged mine with a largish allen set screw and some gasket sealer. It's been running fine that way since '84.

Crushed it, drilled it out, jammed a rubber plug in the hole.
