When I dismantled the "B" to install new wiring, I removed the defogger ductwork and realized the DPO had struck again and all the "bits" were not there. I ordered the two straight tubes and elbows from VB but when I came to install them, they were obviously wrong. The way I got it to work was to put short tubes into the heater box, then the flexduct fitted over the short tubes and slotted into the heater housing and runs to the degogger outlet on the dash. Two clamps hold the flex tube in place. Has anybody else seen this setup - it does not appear in any of the manuals or parts catalogs but seems to be a neat and effective system.

Yes, there was a time when BL did away with the oblongue panel with the 2 curved hose ends permanently attached & went to just 2 little tubes connecting your hoses to the car...seen it on many a car

My '73 is set up the same way and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a DPO move since I know the PO.
