So long as the threads are correct (8 per inch or 12 per inch) then they SHOULD be the same.
Try gently threading them on and if they go easily (remember that 2 are reverse thread) then they are OK.

Art, the actual spindle portion of the swivel axle should be the same for either disc or wire wheel cars. Several of us have been working on a project involving front wheel bearings and that much we found out, the swivel axles are the same. We have found some minor variations in filet radius but nothing that would be a problem when using orginal bearings. If you're refering to the actual mounting spline portion relative to the center hub portion of the disc wheel hub then yes the wire wheel hubs are much larger, but internally in the bearing and spindle area they are the same dimensions and should be interchangable.
x2 Bill...but I am not currently involved in his project....;)
I might add that if they are visibly different, you may have front parts for a different car (like a "B" or something).
The winners circle (cleveland , Ohio offers a heavier spindle than stock ,still use the same bearings etc. I believe.
The Winner's Circle uprights are dimensionally identical to stock, and are actually modified stock units. The difference is that the stock uprights are castings, and on the W/C uprights, the center portion (the shaft part) is machined out and replaced with a stronger forged piece that is pressed in then welded.
