The last thing I need to complete my engine rebuild on my 1968 roadster is a distributor drive spindle that meshes with the cam shaft. The gear teeth are damaged. Moss does not have a new one in stock and at last contact did not have a supplier making new ones. Also I have heard there might be more than one type of spindle depending on the distributer.

Does anyone know of a source for either new/used spindles?

Can the old one be rebuilt?

Can the distributer drive end from my old spindle be transferred to a new/used shaft?

Thanks, seniormgb

I'm sure Tony Barnhill has a bucket of them. There is no difference in them from MGA on.
