If you loosen the big nut in the fenderwell."
don`t follow

You have to remove the splash panel inside the front wheel well to get behind the fender to reach the large nuts Chris is talking about. That is assuming you don't snap all the rusted bolts holding the splash panel on! Here's a photo of the nuts in question. They are on the A-pillar. I'll see if I have a close up shot.
Come to think of it, removing the splash panel will not give you access to those bolts. You have to remove the fender.
you can just reach in with a long extension and a socket...no problem. It only becomes a problem if they are rusty.
The easier up/down adjustment is made with the door/hinge adjustment - 3 #4 pozidrive screws/hinge, accessed by removing the inner door trim panel. Loosening those will allow up/down and frt/rear adjustment.
My mistake about removing the fender. I can't recall right now, are there holes in the web that attaches the fender to the car just behind the A-pillar which give access to the hinge nuts?
Thanks guys..........would you believe there was no nuts
on the bolts !!!!
Nuts on door lineament perfect
