I had posted a message a few weeks ago about not being able to properly adjust the passenger door so that the latch and latch plate wouldn't rub. Today I noticed that the back rear corner of the door skin is rubbing the paint off the inner lip of the dogleg, where it curves into the outer edge of the sill. It looks like there is a fair bit of slop in the upper hinge so I ordered a new hinge today.
Any tricks to installing a new hinge? I think you have to remove four screws and the bolt that is accessed from behind the splash panel. I sure wish I had done this when I had the fenders off, but I had never noticed a problem before?
Other than the paint I already have to touch up, any harm in continuing to drive it like that until I get the new hinge?
Thanks,
Greg

You are correct about the bolts. When I replace a door, I place a 2x4 under the bottom of the door and support it with a floor jack. Easy to make fine adjustments with the jack till you get it right
