This is old school stuff, and i am having a little trouble figuring out how to plug this thing to adjust my dwell. also someone told me i can use it for 4 cyl. all i have to do is devive by two the value in the 8 cyl line, is that correct?
And finaly how do i use the " points OK/ points Bad " on this meter?

Double the 8 cylinder value. 30 degrees on the 8 cyl chart will equal 60 degrees in a 4 cyl. With your meter that may not be accurate because the reading for the 6 cyl in the same position should be 45.

Where do the wires hook up to?
I have two sets of red & black aligor clips, one set large and one set small.

I'd guess the big ones need battery power, shiel the small ones go to the + and - terminals of the coil.
You can attach the big red one to the bottom fuse n the panel and the big black one to any good ground in the engine bay, such as an unpainted alternator mount.
