I was doing my weekly checkout of nearby cars (not just B's, actually not B's at all) and came across this ad.

Noticed they did not spare the black paint underneath covering rust....
Wow....looks like the entire underside was just sprayed black....suspension and all. Even got overspray on the lift! Might just be hiding surface rust to make it pretty for the photos, but......
""I HAVE $16,500 INVESTED IN THE CAR AND OFFERING FOR THE LISTED PRICE ONLY BECAUSE I NEED THE ROOM FOR My NEW TOY.""
But then he says this;
""All Trades and offers will be considered with classic american vehicles given preference"" Well, which is it?
A quickie paint job by the looks of the jambs. He calls it a 9/10. It looks like a good looking driver though. The black spray paint does not help it and he seems to not have any pics underneath that would show you the actual condition of the body.
I was just down there over Thanksgiving (my home town). I should have gone and checked it out.
Looks like it's had a bit of rattle can restoration done to it.
Been to and entered our 72 in two Wilmington shows and don't recall seeing that car there. I would have surly noticed the black paint.
Two firsts for us at Wilmington I might add. PJ

Looks like the parking lot at the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial there Paul! Well done.
I saw that Peter, its even got paint on the bottom of the rack boots. The paint on the lift and the lighter areas where the paint was blocked when it was shot upwards kinda gives it away.
