The girl said it had been there for some time and they all thought it was some kinda junk car . When I told her I had one similar to it , she just said , oh , she still thinks its junk , what do they know anyway ??

At least the gal didn't say "It ran when I parked it" ............
Of course it did dear.
It doeas look to sit a bit high in the front even with the flat tire, I wonder if the engine was in it.

Yikes Derek ! Some of our members have beautiful rubber bumpers
Even RB cars need a good home. It's sad to see one sitting unloved in a damp and dark parking garage
I sure do not consider my RB junk i am sorry that you can not say anything positive about what other people own and love..

bad form, sport.
Well at least it isn't sitting covered in bird and rodent guano in a barn or under a ripped up tarp out in a pasture forgotten somewhere. Rubber bumpers can be changed out or painted the smae color as the vehicle. I was not a big fan of RB's until I saw one that the bumpers had been painted and I really liked the look. I was mad at myself for not having thought of it. That car appears to have a wooden steering wheel too. Hmmm......I wonder what freight would be to the states from SA? How many Pesos?!!!!! What is that in American?
I think I could give it a home. It would be a great candidate for restoration.
A friend of mine is working in Croatia and he sent me this picture this morning.
I knew that would stir things up a bit. I know there's all sorts of controversy about RB vs CB, steel dash vs pillow vs glovebox, fishmouth vs "traditional grill, etc, etc. Not to mention (except I am) 4 vs 6 vs 8 cylinders. I didn't really mean it, my apologies to any that actually are offended!
That missing headlight looks like an eyeball looking at you.

Derek... shame on you.
And I suspect there is no engine as there are no oil drops under it.
Nothing wrong with rubber bumper MG's. All MG's are great!! I don't discriminate!!
I would take that car home::)

Yep, saying "take me home with you PLEASE"
Almost 30 years ago I lived in Colombia for 2 years. In all the time there I only saw two MGBs. If they were that scarce then, they must be even rarer now.
I need to start a rescue home for unloved MGs - Salem Humane Society for MGs
My guess is that it's also without engine, the front seems high even for an RB...I should know I have one of those junky ones....
I'd give that piece of junk a home, it would keep my other piece of junk company.
That's JUN-QUE! Not Junk.
<~~~Purveyor and Collector of Fine British Automotive Junque!
Yep, I'd take it home too- first order of business....CB conversion. Whew, "lighten up" is right. Methinks thou rubberbumperists protesteth too much.
That is my kind of junk! Looks better than my BGT when I got it. Now mine looks slightly better than that one. I do have two headlights anyway.Paul
