I ran the hose clamp trick on my '75 Midget for years. Finally got rid of the fan clutch by going to an earlier Triumph water pump and fan blade. I like it so much better...

Me too & got a new pump, fan, bolts, hoses, belt, antifreeze, etc. for the price of a clutch alone!Finally got rid of the fan clutch by going to an earlier Triumph water pump and fan blade. I like it so much better...
