Its nice to see what some thing looks like once you have finished ( Fruits of my labor) I only hope the rest will turn out like this.

Looks nice. I have mine on jack stands right now awaiting new bushings front and rear. Did you sandblast the axle? Mine needs a lot of work.

My plan was to blast it. But I put on the stands and just cleaned and cleaned. I unsed some rust cure to take care of the rust. Used an Aircraft primer and paint on it. I hope this is the last time I have to do any thing on it. Now all I need is the rest of the parts from Chris to finish off the brakes.
Not sure what you mean by whats under the plastic.
