Wanted to make sure everyone knows about the Charity benefit Fun-run/ Rallye we have put together.

Saturday, April 25th, 2009
Driver's meeting at 1:00pm
First car off at 1:15pm
All the cars are required reach the finish in Boone by 4:30pm

High Country Sports Car Club, and the Appalachian Miata Club are co-hosting this event. The event will feature two groups: TARGA and TOURING. The TOURING group has a different and shorter first leg of the route, giving them 71 miles to cover, versus the 84 miles the TARGA group would have to cover in the same three hours. Both groups will have identify15-20 locations from photos taken along the route. No gimmicks, just the printed directions, the photos, and a tiebreaker challenge of some sort en-route. The event will benefit the Alexander County Habit fo Humanity. Just $10 per car. Good fun for a good cause.
